Cornwall · St Austell Bay

Porthpean

Five minutes' walk to a sandy beach, on the South West Coast Path — with the Eden Project, Charlestown, Fowey and Mevagissey all within easy reach.

A small hamlet on the north shore of St Austell Bay, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The setting is rural — fields adjoining the cottage, buzzards overhead, house martins at the bedroom window — and yet civilisation is minutes away in any direction. A short walk through the field brings you to the beach; a few steps further and you're on the coast path, with miles of cliff walking south to Black Head or north toward Charlestown.

A short stroll · a short drive
